The jury’s still out on whether this is going to be a reoccurring series…thoughts? Regardless, a couple of my female friends are having moments right now and they need to be celebrated.
One of my best friends just launched an online boutique that is so good, I’ve requested text updates when she gets new merchandise in stock. Seriously. It’s called Shop Elcie and it launched last week. There’s a little bit of something for everyone including those of us who are desperately trying to channel warmer weather with spring neutrals.
My DC photog, Laura Metzler, just relaunched her website and it’s quite the looker. On top of having a great eye, she runs Fostr Collaborative, has a majorly swoon worthy home and she’s a human I genuinely enjoying being around. That’s saying something. I highly recommend booking her for whatever kind of photography you need.
Last week my friend, Meghan, published an incredibly personal post that I think resonates with so many women. I left her page feeling inspired, proud, and confident knowing a lot of us go through the same cycles – we just don’t share them as openly as we should with one another. As if the post wasn’t empowering enough, the comments section will hit you twice as hard.
Last week, a woman from The Letter Project reached out to me about spreading the word about this 501(c)3 nonprofit. ‘At its core, The Letter Project is simple: women writing letters to girls around the world who need extra encouragement.’ I feel like we could all use a little more of this in our lives right now. Find out more about this project here.
What do you think? Should Women Doing Cool Sh*t be a reoccurring series on the blog?
