Mother’s Day is right around the corner and the name of the game is pamerping, ladies. Whether it’s the main gift or one of many, I’ve always shared my favorite skincare with my mom and this year is no different.
I was introduced to TULA through a blogger friend who couldn’t have had better things to say about it so I quickly determined I had to test the line for myself to see what all the hype was about. I had seen their exfoliating mask everywhere but wanted to get my hands on the night and daytime creams to really see if this was a skincare line I could use every day. My skin is super sensitive and sometimes a brand’s masks aren’t the best indicator of the rest of the line which happened to be the case with my TULA test drive.
This is a super light daytime face cream with enough moisture to get you through 12 hours of winter weather and still look hydrated without looking greasy. While it can be used at nighttime, I prefer to use the Overnight Rescue Treatment as it’s a little heavier.
The hype with this one is real – It’s one of my favorite exfoliating masks and leaves that minty feel on your skin after you wash it off. I only leave this mask on for 3-5 minutes – any longer and my sensitive skin becomes irritated.
Neck creams are tricky – I’ve been trying to find one that soaks into the skin quickly since I hate that wet neck feeling when I’m trying to get to sleep. This one is great, isn’t sticky, and doesn’t stink!
Second to the day cream, this is my favorite product from the line. I apply this every night before bed and wake up looking incredibly refreshed with dewy, plump skin. It took about two weeks to start seeing results – this one’s a keeper.
While the price point is a bit heftier than the price of products I normally use, I’ve learned that it’s important to invest in certain things in life and skincare is absolutely one of those things. While you’re at it, make sure you’re using an SPF every day in addition to your regular moisturizer.
Overall, I’d recommend this brand. Bonus: If you shop these products now, they’ll be here in time for Mother’s Day! And while you’re at it, treat yoself!
