Rent the Runway was created so that we could get out of the habit of buying outfits for every occasion. But I loved this one so much I knew I couldn’t give it up. The cuts were great, the fits were flattering, I felt like a rockstar and could not have been more proud that I paired these two gems together. So I treated myself to buying the look.
I spent more time than I’d like to admit scouring the site for the perfect rehearsal dinner look and morning-after brunch outfit for my dad’s wedding and I scored big with RTR this go around. For the rehearsal, I wanted to make more of a statement so I rented this killer red Jay Godfrey jumpsuit. The brunch was more of a casual event and I had a two piece set in mind from the beginning so when I found these separates, I figured they’d compliment each other well. It was a gamble based on the appearance of the fit but mercury was nowhere near retrograde so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
It was love at first sight from the moment it arrived. It was one of those outfits I just knew would work and it totally did. It was just casual enough, super comfortable and really flattering. I fell in love with the top based on how unique it was and I knew I could get away with wearing these pants over and over again during the summer. So I bit the bullet and bought the look! And I’ve worn the pants three times in the last month. Solid investment so far!
