When you’re like me and you tend to play in a colorless palette pool, prints and textures are your best bet when you’re looking to make a fashion statement. Or maybe you’re not even looking to make a statement. Maybe one day you’re feeling extremely adventurous and instead of pairing greys with darker greys, you’re interested in mixing a deep purpley oxblood with a rusted orange. ‘Tis the season, after all. Why stop there, you animal?
Take that color mixing up a notch and choose pieces that are textured: jacquard, fringe, suede, pleats.
I must warn that too much of a good thing can be a bad baad thing, so stick with two pieces… for now. We’ll get into the trifecta later next month. For now, find peace in knowing you’re not that hooligan walking down the street wearing layered pleats.
I should also note my recent obsession with this top. You always hear people talking about how they’re living in some piece or clothing or another to try and get you to buy it. And I’m about to be one of those people. Because you have to buy this top. Open back. Tied neck. Flowy enough to hide those nachos you know you want. No bra needed. HELLO. This is a must have. And I wear it at least once a week. No shame.

Love it but I’m side-eyeing your statement about not needing a bra because there are VERY few times I can get away with that.
Truth – helps if you have a smaller chest! Might not be the ticket for everyone.
Sans bra is freedom!!! Love this look. And I really love your hair.

Ah, the freedom. A huge reason I’ve been living in this shirt! Thanks, Meghan.
