My Target Optical® Experience

A few weeks ago when boarding a flight, I put my purse down in my seat to load my bag in the overhead bin, per usual, and ended up sitting on my favorite glasses. I figured they’d be fine just resting on top of my bag since it’s such a hassle to put them back in the case – lesson learned.
I spent a lot of time testing out different brands and choosing the right frame for my face so I was beyond bummed when I realized that my frame was discontinued. Frameless, no interest in spending any time finding the perfect new pair, and with a ton of travel within the next few months, I figured it was time to bite the bullet and join the lenses club. I’d heard a ton of great things about ACUVUE® so I figured I’d start my contact lens journey there.

Truth be told, in the beginning I was stoked that I needed to wear glasses and thought they were super chic. Three years later, I can’t be bothered with another accessory. Real talk.
I recently moved and haven’t been able to get in with an Optometrist in the area so I was incredibly thankful when I noticed a Target Optical® nook at my local Target last weekend. After loading 3-4 bags of essentials into my car (when all I went there for was laundry detergent) I hopped on my phone and was able to make an appointment at that location for the next day in just a few minutes.

I typed targetoptical.com into my browser and submitted my new zip to select my local Target Optical® location.

After selecting my location, I was prompted to choose a date and time and was beyond jazzed when I noticed they could get me in early the next day.

After submitting all of the relevant information, I received a confirmation email with my selected date and time. Couldn’t have been an easier process!

The next morning, I stopped in for my exam which took less than 20 minutes and then bombarded the optometrist with all sorts of questions I’d researched the night before regarding wearing contacts. With all questions sufficiently answered, I left with a new prescription and will have my new ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses soon!
