Rainy season in Mexico? Nbd. As long as it’s cooler than 75, it’s leather weather.

BLANK Vegan Leather Moto Jacket c/o South Moon Under
Suede Ankle Boots c/o South Moon Under
When I packed for Mexico, I thought cute sundresses, chunky heels, and bright jewelry. Right? How fun! Little did I know, it was the rainy season. Womp. I ended up spending most of my time there between two outfits and brought this leather jacket along for every adventure. It held up well and elevated my frumpy boyfriend jeans and frizzy hair when I needed it to the most. I’m from the school of thought that a leather jacket always takes and outfit to the next level. It’s a great piece to invest in whether you’re dressing something up or down – it’s completely versatile. I snagged this one from South Moon Under (on sale right now!) and have been extremely pleased with how it’s held up. It’s a little heavier (and it’s vegan!!!) so it’s perfect to wear as an actual jacket as the days get a little cooler instead of using it just an accessory.

Hi! Is the link for the leather jacket the same one you have on? The link goes to Shopbop and the jacket looks a tad different.
Thanks!
Thanks for the catch, Christina! The link I had up before was to a similar BlankNYC jacket that was on sale. Here is a link to the exact same jacket I’m wearing in the post: http://ow.ly/RQeh304Rs7j
All links have also been updated within the post. Thank you!
Love this jacket! What is the sizing like?
I typically size up, especially with leather jackets since I find the material is always a little tighter HOWEVER, this one runs true to size. I tried S, M, and L and I ended up with a Medium. Fits like a (comfy) glove! This jacket is heavier than the cheap, flimsy ones that are all over the place right now, so it hangs off your body instead of sticking to it – like a more expensive, true leather jacket. I hope this helps!
