Travel Made Easy

After breaking my favorite frames while traveling, I decided it was time to make the switch to contacts. A more simple and travel friendly alternative to glasses, in the two weeks I’ve worn them they’ve already proven to be the better choice for my lifestyle.

I’m constantly on the move. I’m working, coaching, and shooting blog content daily and while my old tortoise rimmed glasses made a cute accessories in flat lays every once in awhile, they weren’t great for everyday life. They were a nightmare during photo shoots and would fog up every time I stepped foot on the pool deck. Not ideal. They’re also not great during travel: Exhibit A. Truth be told, that was the second pair of frames I’d sat on in three years so the switch to contacts was an easy one to make.

How did I choose Target Optical®? Read all about that here.

These days, I’m loving the ease with which my ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses make travel. I typically toss a few ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses in my makeup bag and I’m set! The best part is, I’m not breaking another pair of glasses. For seamless travel, I always pack the following in a leather tote. This way, all items are easily accessible no matter how you’re traveling:

ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses

Contact solution

Facial Serum

Hair perfume

Tech chargers

Ultimately, I chose ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses over glasses due to my astigmatism as I need them most while driving at night. I’ve found that they have made a huge difference with the issues I have with light, whether that’s from headlights or street signs. If this is an issue that plagues you I would absolutely recommend looking into making the switch!
