I’ve been using Beauty Blenders to apply my concealer and foundation for the last few years and always had the hardest time packing them for travel or even knowing where to store them on a day to day basis. I resorted to tossing them in drawers or plastic bags which was, let’s be honest, gross. I’m surprised it took me so long to discover and commit to a case but this one has been key. The protective case is breathable and bends a bit making it perfect for fitting in your travel makeup bag.
After my Mophie died, I did a little research on the best external charger out there and this is what I came up with. The testimonials of on-the-go women who never seemed to have their phones charged is what sold me. 50% of the time I forget to charge my phone at night and when my business depends on being on my phone most of the day that’s a problem. This charger fits in your pocket and provides 5 full charges before it has to be charged itself. Highly recommend.
Making the switch from toxic deodorant to a natural alternative was really easy thanks to this deodorant. It smells amazing, it glides on smoothly, and honestly works all day. After being on natural deodorant for about 6 months now, I find I’m no longer reapplying twice a day. Plus, I’m not slathering my underarms with aluminum. That’s a win. You can read more about my switch to natural deodorant here.
I have tried to find a less expensive alternative to this spray – it does not exist. This stuff is the real deal but at $46/bottle I use it sparingly. This texture spray does just that: it provides that desired effortless textured look to beach waves. If you’ve found a comparable alternative please share with us!
Until about 3 months ago, I was a Neutrogena makeup wipe addict. There is nothing those wipes can’t do. Except biodegrade. And at one wipe per day, I was really overwhelmed about my waste contribution. Yes, the aforementioned texturizing is aerosol so let’s call it even. I use this micellar water every night to remove my makeup and I’m loving it. I splash this in my hands and wash my face without any cotton pads because of the aforementioned environment anxiety but you can also put some on a pad and remove makeup that way. The micellar water leaves my skin residue free (unlike the Neutorgena wipes) and leaves it feeling completely refreshed.
I have discovered the secret to perfectly ash toned hair and it’s this mask. Purple shampoos have been taking a toll on my scalp so I’ve been trying to use them sparingly. Instead, I use this mask two or three times a month to achieve the blonde that I so desperately crave. It’s effective and nourishing. Win, win.
The charging cables that come with the iPhone are simply not long enough to do anything. I initially bought these inexpensive cables for the length and was pleasantly surprised when I discovered they fully charged my devices (external charger included) in around 30 minutes. I bought four. I should also note that other non-Apple cables I’ve tried in the past have had a pretty short lifespan. I have been using these for over a year and they’re still as good as new.
If you follow me on Instastories, you know all about this travel case. I needed a protective carry-all for makeup, skin and haircare and this case is ideal. It’s sturdy (aka will protect your overpriced beauty tools during travel) and comes with removable dividers so you can customize the case to your needs. At $25, it was more than I wanted to spend on a makeup case but it’s worth every penny.
