I’m gonna be honest with you. I didn’t take notes this season. What!? The horror. I know. But real life, I was too busy trying to convince myself that the flu I had was really just a nasty cold so in between shows and meetings I napped my face off and ended up heading home a day early. So chic. Day 1 was mostly spent trying to stay warm and curse the fact that I probably shouldn’t drink while sick. Damn, priorities.
Back to fashun.
Each Fashion Week, I dress just a smidge out of my comfort zone. A little because it’s accepted and maybe to shamelessly try my hand at getting shot by a street style photographer. Who can say, really. But I always step out of my DC comfort zone. And this is one of those outfits I’m glad I ended up with. While it made for a super cozy and easy chic look up in New York, tweak it just a tad and it makes a great casual Friday look in the summer or a date night look, year-round.
And these SHEWZ. Comfiest things I’ve slipped my feet into. While I’m a high-top converse gal for life, there’s something to be said for lace-less shoes. I’ve had them for a week and I’ve worn them every day since. Including to work yesterday. No shame in this game, friends.
