When a Converse Factory store opens less than 30 miles from your house you cancel your afternoon plans and head out to the ‘burbs. I’ve been a longtime Converse fan (who isn’t!?) as evidenced here, here, here and most recently here. I fell in love with the brand the moment I laid eyes on a pair of black high top Chucks and the love affair has only grown stronger with each black and white pair I come across. Not long after my first pair, I invested in a pair of white all-stars and a pair of white high tops because every girl needs the classics. Then I picked up a maroon pair. What else are you supposed to wear to Redskins games? Recently, I stumbled upon a pair of black leather high tops. So good, right? It gets better. They’re lined with black faux fur and the detailing is gold. Basically, the essence of my being in a shoe.
This is one of those shoe brands that’s so good it sells itself. They’ve been around forever (my dad used to play basketball in white all-stars!) and they’re still a classic wardrobe staple. I wear them to work, on the weekends, to run errands, at football games… You name it, there’s an occasion to wear this shoe which is why I currently have 5 pair.
I’m always on the lookout for my next great pair of Converse but since my shoe size is pretty typical, the style I have my eye on is usually unavailable online. Needless to say, I’m beyond excited that there’s a brick and mortar less than an hour away where I can get my fix. At 3,000 square feet of selling space, and over 200 footwear styles offered, any style I’m on the hunt for is sure to be in stock!
