Without a doubt, Georgetown has always been my favorite DC neighborhood. The shopping, the quaint restaurants, the waterfront – they’re all favorites of mine. But for a place separated from the rest of the city by lack of Metro presence, the streets are sometimes a little too crowded for my taste. So when I found a little hide out in the middle of the hustle, I knew I’d hit the jackpot. Cady’s Alley is a 120,000 square foot haven in the middle of the Georgetown madness. There’s an understated walkway right in the middle of the design district on M Street that leads into the Alley where you’ll find hot spots like Leopold & L2 & shopping favorites Intermix, Bonobos, & Relish.

Next time you’re trying to shop the Zara sale & you’re nearly trampled by Georgetown students, take a fiver in Cady’s Alley to grab a drink & recharge. You’ll be glad you did!
