OK, full disclosure, this dress is over $150 (it’s actually $178) but it’s one of the best LWDs I’ve been able to find and a post entitled, “9 White Dresses Under $150 and One That’s a Little More Expensive But Soooooo Cute” doesn’t really vibe as much. Ya dig?
NICHOLAS EYELET DRESS c/o Rent the Runway
On warmer weekend days, I’ve found myself shopping my closet for the perfect floaty dress to wear out for errands, patio lunches, and backyard bbqs but each time I’ve come up short and ended up in a black dress with a denim jacket. Turns out, I don’t have as many summer clothing options as I’d like.
In the last 10 years, the most color I’ve worn was to appease a bride on her wedding day and I don’t see any drastic change in my sartorial choices in the future which can make summertime a hard season to dress for. Solution: Stock up on neutral staple pieces including the little white dress. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, this is an easy option you can grab and pair with light jackets and bright accessories. Or if you’re anything like me, you’ll get into a little neutral on neutral action. A white dress is a fresh canvas you have tons of options to dress up or down.
